About Me
- Name: Judith Simon Prager, PhD
- Location: Hermosa Beach, California, United States
Since co-authoring The Worst Is Over: What To Say When Every Moment Counts, which has been called "the 'bible' for crisis communication," by The International Journal of Emergency Mental Health, I have trained physicians, nurses, health care professionals, and first responders in this simple, yet life-saving protocol. I also teach with my husband, Harry Youtt, in the UCLA Ext. Writers' Program, the largest program of its kind in the country, where we were named "Outstanding Instructors" in 2004. My work in prenatal development and with hospitals around the country and around the world (see my Judithchinatrip.blogspot.com about working in China after their devastating 2008 earthquake), has been very rewarding, as has my private practice in hypnotherapy and trauma relief. As the mother of two, step-mother of two, and grandmother of four amazing children, I want now to help all the world's children have a self-healing voice in their heads as they encounter crises, big and small.
